Yokohama Stadium, nicknamed ‘Hamasta,’ is located in Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture, and serves as the home stadium of the Yokohama DeNA BayStars professional baseball team. The stadium hosts baseball games, various sports events, and live concerts, and was notably used as an official venue for baseball and softball during the recent Tokyo Olympics.

Yokohama Stadium features a multi-level seating structure with floors 1-4 plus rooftop seating (RF). Previously accommodating around 32,000 people, the capacity increased after adding 2,812 Wing seats in 2020, bringing the total capacity to approximately 35,000.

From JR Kannai Station (JR Negishi Line)

When going to Yokohama Stadium from JR Kannai Station (JR Negishi Line), exit through the South Exit ticket gates.

After exiting the ticket gates, head to the left side where you can see Yokohama City Hall. Walk in the direction of the arrow with the city hall on your left. Yokohama Stadium is very close from here.

Cross the pedestrian crossing and you’ll arrive at Yokohama Stadium! To enter through the main entrance, proceed in the direction of the arrow. Enjoy your live concert or event!

From Kannai Station (Yokohama Municipal Subway Blue Line)

When going to Yokohama Stadium from Yokohama Municipal Subway Blue Line Kannai Station, exit the ticket gates and head to Exit 1.

After exiting from Exit 1, turn right and walk along the road for a while. You’ll start to see the third base side of Yokohama Stadium faintly in the distance.

You’ve almost reached Yokohama Stadium! While baseball spectators may be able to enter from this side, if you’re attending a live concert, head to the main entrance on your right.

You’ve arrived at Yokohama Stadium! To enter through the main entrance, proceed in the direction of the arrow. Enjoy your live concert or event!

From Nihon-Odori Station (Minatomirai Line)

When going to Yokohama Stadium from Minatomirai Line Nihon-Odori Station, exit the ticket gates and head to Exit 2 at the right rear to reach ground level.

After reaching ground level, turn back as shown in the diagram and walk along the road for a while.

After walking for a while, you’ll see the left field stands of Yokohama Stadium. Cross the pedestrian crossing as shown in the diagram and enter Yokohama Park.

You’re almost at Yokohama Stadium. Since the main entrance is on the opposite side, turn right and walk clockwise through Yokohama Park.

Yokohama Stadium / Basic Information

Yokohama Stadium is conveniently located near Motomachi-Chukagai and Minato Mirai areas, perfect for dining and sightseeing before or after events. Arrive early during popular events as the area can get crowded. Note that smoking areas are currently closed due to COVID-19 measures. The stadium does not have dedicated parking, so public transportation is highly recommended.
